In addition to helping the team lead with the development team to create new solutions, you'll help optimize existing technology and identify new capabilities. Job Responsibilities: Provide oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers that work on basic to moderately complex tasks Be accountable for decisions that influence teams’ execution and implementation of processes and procedures Collaborate with the Business Analysis team for producing estimates and agile delivery plans, stakeholders etc. Identify and mitigates issues to execute a book of work while escalating issues as necessary Design, code, test, and deliver software leveraging firm-wide frameworks and best practices for the ServiceNow platform. Follow and enhance the scrum practices for continuous team processes improvement Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or graduation from a reputed institution. Significant software development experience with proven ServiceNow architect/team lead responsibilities. ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS–ITSM. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Experience leading teams of technologists and driving strategic initiatives. Coaching and fostering an innovative, high-performance team culture. Hiring, developing, mentoring, and recognizing talent. Strong understanding of SDLC and ITIL practices. Expertise in resource allocation and project planning to deliver within timelines. Deep knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, data/security models, and application framework; strong integrations and authentication patterns. Proficiency in performance optimization (scripts, indexing, queries, tuning), Performance Analytics (KPIs, reporting), and JavaScript/AngularJS for reusable, testable components; committed to continuous learning.
