Main duties of the job
Bring valuable post-registration experience, including work on the surgical ward, with a dual training approach that equips you for both paediatric and adult care environments. Complete thorough pre-assessments on 16 and 17-year-old patients. Ideally possess Intermediate Life Support (ILS) and/or Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) certification. Have a passion for delivering exceptional care to children aged 16 and 17 during their pre/post operative stay and while attending clinics and procedures around the hospital. Play a vital role in supporting children through their hospital journey, acting as a trusted support for both patients and their parents or guardians. Deliver high-quality, clinically effective care as part of our ward team. Broaden your skills across a wide variety of cases and work within different specialist areas. Benefit from flexible hours.

Job responsibilities
As a Dual Registered Staff Nurse, you will:
* Bring valuable post-registration experience, including work on the surgical ward, with a dual training approach for paediatric and adult care.
* Complete thorough pre-assessments on 16 and 17-year-old patients. Ideally possess ILS and/or PILS certification.
* Deliver exceptional care to children aged 16 and 17 during their hospital stay and procedures.
* Support children and their families throughout their hospital journey.

Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC) with relevant qualifications and experience.
Experience
Post-registration experience, preferably including work on surgical wards.
