Overview

Are you a recent Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security graduate who's eager to put your skills into practice? Do you enjoy breaking things to understand how they work, analysing systems for weaknesses, and helping organisations strengthen their defences? If so, this opportunity could be the ideal first step in your cyber security career.

As a Junior Cyber Security Analyst within our Technical Services team, you'll apply the practical knowledge gained from your degree to real-world scenarios—supporting vulnerability analysis, secure development, and incident response across applications and networks. More specifically, you will:

* Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and suspicious activity
* Assist with network security audits, penetration testing activities, and risk assessments
* Apply your ethical hacking mindset to identify weaknesses and support remediation
* Use your coding and scripting experience to review, adapt, or develop secure code with colleagues
* Contribute to incident response investigations and threat analysis
* Support the development of internal security policies and training
* Stay up to date with emerging threats, tools, and industry best practice
* Help build in-house tooling and automation to improve security processes

Experience / Requirements

You will hold a degree in Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security, Cyber Security (BSc Hons) or a similar discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT with strong cyber security components. We welcome applications from graduates and those with experience gained through education, labs, personal projects, CTFs, home labs, work experience, or training.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* A strong understanding of hardware, operating systems, secure network architecture, and common attack paths
* Familiarity with penetration testing methodologies, vulnerability management, and secure system design
* Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C
* Awareness of common vulnerabilities, exploits, threat actors, and defensive controls
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to manage your time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team

Package

* 22-25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (and your birthday as an extra holiday too)
* Health cash plan (includes wellbeing, lifestyle, and insurance services/discounts)
* Electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme
* Two paid days a year volunteering allowance
* Ongoing training and support, regular reviews and mentoring opportunities
