Our client focuses on innovative design, technical excellence, and a collaborative, trusted partnership approach to working with clients. They are looking for a driven, self-motivated leader with a passion for delivering complex rail projects from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with Engineering Directors and Managers to oversee the design process and ensure integration across disciplines.
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and line management support to project managers and junior team members.
* Lead the preparation of tender proposals and play a key role in winning new work and developing client relationships.

Requirements:

* Proven track record of contract management, ideally with experience as an Employer's Representative or NEC Project Manager.
* Experience across all stages of the project life cycle — from concept through to construction.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
* Collaborative approach to working with clients, delivery partners, and internal stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence to challenge and innovate.
* Full driving licence.

Desirable Attributes:

* Consultancy background with proven experience managing large infrastructure portfolios.
* Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
* Passion for driving excellence and continuous improvement in project delivery.
