Trainee Actuarial

If you are currently studying towards the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries (IFoA) examinations and have relevant actuarial work experience in the Life Insurance sector, we want to hear from you.
A bit about the job:
We are the UK's largest insurer, a FTSE 100 company, and a market leader globally. We demonstrate our expertise in house and partner with training providers to develop well-rounded Actuaries with insurance-oriented actuarial, financial, and commercial knowledge.
Our trainees rotate every 18 months to 2 years, with your first placement confirmed before you join us.
We have one of the largest networks of Actuaries in the country, ensuring you are in good hands from the start. Your line manager, buddy, and qualified mentor will support you throughout your training. You will also have access to a supportive team and business-wide networking opportunities.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Commitment to actuarial exam progress, with at least 6 exams passed (not exemptions)
* Knowledge of life insurance, investment products, or Solvency II reporting (preferred but not essential)
* Broad technical knowledge of actuarial principles and methodology
* Highly numerate, analytical, with strong data interpretation skills
* Proficient in computer skills, especially Excel
