You'll play a key role in supporting services like the Virtual Ward, Urgent Community Response, Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), and intermediate care, helping patients stay closer to home and move smoothly through their care journey.

If you thrive on keeping teams organised, patients informed, and making a visible difference every day, this is the role for you.

The skills & qualities we're looking for our new team administrator are a warm communicator, highly organised, accurate and reliable, with good judgement, confident with MS Office and clinical admin systems, and someone who enjoys helping a busy MDT run like clockwork.

Duties may include booking appointments; greeting patients; preparing notes; inputting data into the electronic patient record system, as well as hospital systems (IHCS and then EPIC when introduced).

Working for our organisation

Be part of a collaborative team spanning the Virtual Ward, Urgent Community Response, hospital clinicians, and the Newton Abbot ward team. We value kindness, respect, and listening, and we celebrate successes, share learning, and welcome practical ideas that improve the patient experience.

In this role, you'll be trusted to take ownership of your work—and you'll see the difference you make every shift. If you take pride in getting the details right for patients and teams and want to be part of a new model of care that helps people stay well at home, we'd love to hear from you.
