Our team works tirelessly to ensure that every member of our community feels secure and cared for, especially during the night hours. The Role: As the Night Boarding Team Lead, your main responsibility will be to oversee the night shift operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of our boarding community while they rest. You will lead a team of dedicated individuals, providing guidance and support to enable them to perform at their best. Please note, this is a non-residential role and you will be working on a 2-week shift pattern with start/finish times varying from 22:15 - 09:00. The full shift pattern may be shared upon request. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise the night shift to maintain a safe and secure environment for all boarders. Support and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Oversee health and safety protocols within the boarding facility, including writing risk assessments, conducting checks, and coordinating fire drills to ensure regulatory compliance. Act as a point of contact for any emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night, demonstrating calmness and professionalism in all situations. Collaborate with other staff members to address any concerns or issues affecting the well-being of boarders. REQUIREMENTS: Previous managerial experience, ideally in a similar setting. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to remain alert and focused during night hours. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
