SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Pay: £14.30 – £15.50 per hour

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to children with additional learning needs.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning tailored to individual EHCP targets.
* Support pupils with communication, social‑emotional needs, or sensory/hearing impairments as required.
* Help maintain a positive learning environment that promotes inclusion and independence.
* Contribute to behaviour support strategies and consistent routines.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
* Has prior experience working in a primary school setting.
* Has experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language, or Hearing Impairments).
* Is patient, nurturing, proactive, and confident in adapting learning materials.
* Can build positive and supportive relationships with pupils.
* Is reliable, professional, and committed to long‑term development.

Nearby stops include Broadgreen Hospital (5‑minute walk) and Thingwall Lane (5‑minute walk). Bus routes such as the 7, 102, and 204 provide regular links to Liverpool City Centre and surrounding areas. Broad Green train station is approximately an 8‑minute walk away.
