These environments provide fantastic opportunities for the children in our care to explore, play and learn.\n\nThis working environment provides all of their team members with a warm, positive and friendly atmosphere.\n\nOur client is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager.\n\nDeputy Nursery Manager – Qualifications & Experience\n\nA childcare and education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3\n\nPrevious experience of managing a room or team within a nursery setting\n\nA formal management qualification is desirable although not essential\n\nA current First Aid qualification.\n\nA sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)\n\nA thorough knowledge of safeguarding procedures\n\nDeputy Nursery Manager – Key Responsibilities\n\nTo support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including overseeing planning and record keeping\n\nPromote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members\n\nSupport with the development of and maintaining highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority departments, regulatory bodies and other agencies\n\nRemain abreast of current developments in childcare and education policies and practices\n\nAssist the Manager with maintaining accurate accounts for the nursery and produce management information in accordance with company procedures\n\nAssist with the preparation and delivery of regular staff, planning and parent meetings and other events.\n\nBenefits Include:\n\nGenuine opportunities for career progression\n\nAccess to professional training\n\nPension scheme\n\n60% childcare discount,\n\nEnhanced maternity/paternity leave,\n\nRewards and recognition,\n\nRefer a friend Bonus Scheme,\n\nBirthday off,\n\nHealth & wellbeing support
