Job Description
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Bolton. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students with special educational needs (SEN) reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Work closely with teaching staff to deliver inclusive learning activities.
Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Assist with emotional regulation and social development.
Record and report progress to the SENCO and teaching team.
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
