Warehouse Operative

Role:
As a logistics operator you will be trained on various processes to suit your individual skill set, and you will be carrying out tasks as per instructions from warehouse team leader and supervisor/ or as per process agreed with team leaders each day:
* Picking and packing
* Loading & Unloading pallets and stock across the warehouse
* Customer order picking
* Shrink wrapping
* Working in a team
* General warehouse duties
* Handling stock respectfully, with a high attention to detail
* Opportunities to upskill to other trucks (e.g. VNA)
* Heavy Lifting Involved
* Operating a Powered Pallet Truck - T20 (Experience is preferred)
Hours of work:
Monday-Friday: permanent mornings or permanent afternoons from 30 hours – 45 hours per week, depending on business needs
Pay Rates:
- £12.41/hour (Morning shift)
- £14.27/hour (Afternoon shift)
* Pay increase to £12.88/hour (AM) and £14.81/hour (PM) after 12 weeks
* Overtime rates: x1.5 Mon-Sat; x2 Sunday

About you:
* Previous experience as warehouse operative is desirable, however full training is provided.
* Good levels of attendance.
* Flexibility to carry out overtime when required.
* Be physically able to carry out manual work.
* Enthusiastic and committed.
