Senior HR Administrator/Assistant

We are hiring for our client, a highly successful, global manufacturing company, who wish to recruit a Senior HR Administrator for their South Down/Newry site.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the Senior HR Administrator/Assistant will provide key HR support across a site of circa 150 employees. This is an exciting, permanent opportunity offering excellent career progression, a strong benefits package, and the chance to work with a market leader.

The Role:

* Support the HR Manager in delivering the people plan and wider HR strategy
* Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, onboarding, and offboarding
* Maintain HR systems, update payroll records, and manage amendments and discrepancies
* Monitor timekeeping and absence through the time and attendance system
* Support Occupational Health referrals and wellbeing initiatives
* Assist with employee relations processes – scheduling meetings, taking notes, drafting outcome letters
* Maintain HR records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

The Person:

* 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline
* Minimum of 1 year's experience in a HR administration role
* Understanding of payroll and time and attendance processes (advantageous)
* Experience in manufacturing, production, logistics, or blue-collar environments would be highly advantageous
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
