Pay Level: 8 £48,277 to £53,509 fully inclusive of Local Weighting Allowance Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Working Hours: 37 Hours per week Location: Observatory House, Slough/ Hybrid The closing date for applications is midnight on 23rd December 2025 What you’ll be doing: As the Project Lead, you will be at the forefront of delivering the National Neighbourhood Health Improvement Programme across Slough. You will champion a community-led approach, working closely with residents and partner organisations to co-design solutions that improve health and reduce inequalities. Day-to-day, you will coordinate programme activities, strengthen partnerships, manage performance, and ensure that neighbourhood teams have the support they need to deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes. Acting as a key ambassador for the programme locally and nationally, you will lead staff, influence strategic direction, and drive innovation to build lasting improvements in community health and wellbeing. Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your director. Alongside a competitive salary, we provide: 26 days annual leave (not including Bank holidays), rising to 30 days between 2 - 5 years' service and 33 days after 5 years' service.
