Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are looking for a committed Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join schools in Poole, providing essential guidance and support to learners who need it most.
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, helping them to engage positively in their education.
Responsibilities:
* Support students with behavioural needs to engage positively in lessons.
* Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to develop social and emotional skills.
* Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour strategies.
* Encourage a positive and respectful classroom culture.
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching teams.
* Help to create a safe, supportive, and structured environment for all learners.
Requirements:
* CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or a relevant degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
* Previous experience supporting young people with behavioural or SEMH needs.
* Strong communication, resilience, and empathy skills.
* The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.

* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
