Job Description
As the founding Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in building the financial and operational backbone of a high-growth digital-asset start-up.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role: the CFO will design the financial infrastructure, policies, and controls from the ground up, while directly supporting the CEO (a seasoned capital-markets executive ) in the fundraising execution and investor engagement process. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity, combine institutional financial-controls discipline with start-up execution speed, and have strong experience in treasury, fundraising, or asset-management Responsibilities
Build-out & Infrastructure
1. Establish the full finance function from scratch - accounting systems, chart of accounts, ERP, treasury, and financial-control frameworks.
2. Implement policies for digital-asset custody, valuation, reconciliation, and reporting.
3. Design and oversee external audit, tax, and compliance relationships.
4. Build the operating infrastructure required for future scalability and regulatory readiness.
Capital Formation & Investor Relations
5. Partner with the CEO to execute on the planned USD 600 million capital raise, including financial modelling, data-room management, and investor presentations.
6. Lead all financial aspects of fund structuring, capital deployment, and treasury operations.
7. Act as the key point of contact for investors, legal counsel, and strategic partners.
Financial Governance & Reporting
8. Oversee all internal and external financial reporting, including IFRS/US GAAP standards for digital-asset accounting.
9. Ensure robust liquidity management and on/off-chain treasury oversight.
10. Develop regular reporting and performance dashboards for the Board and investors.
Strategic Leadership
11. Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO on financial strategy, risk, and operational decision-making.
12. Recruit and mentor a lean finance and operations team as the business scales.
13. Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and integrity.
