We are seeking a caring Health Care Support Worker to join our team of experienced nurses, support staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team within the Community Hospital. The position is based in the GP Unit, caring for patients with diverse healthcare needs, including rehabilitation, step-down from acute hospitals, long-term conditions, and palliative care.
You should have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships in a busy environment. A commitment to high standards of patient-centered, safe, and effective care is essential.
The role involves rotational day and night shifts within a roster pattern, with the option of 12-hour shifts.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
