In the position of Logistics Engineer you will hit the ground running at our locations in UK, Cory, Hams Hall, Kings Norton and East Midlands Gateway, become an innovative thought leader for our customers, and support our e-commerce, healthcare, and tech industries with unique intralogistics solutions and concepts with a high degree of automation. Your Tasks
Develop and implement end-to-end intralogistics concepts for national and international customers
Advise internal and external stakeholders, providing tailor-made logistics and automation solutions
Conduct structural data analysis, material flow and space planning, and design warehouse layouts and automated systems
Support project implementation across logistics locations across the UK, including:
Supplier selection
Project coordination and management
Budget control and cost tracking
Perform productivity and workforce requirement calculations (experience with the MOST technique is desirable)
Collaborate with a global team of logistics planners and industrial engineers, using modern tools for data analysis, simulation, and visualisation
Work closely with contractors and partners (e.g. BSR, PD, PC, Real Estate)
Your Profile
Degree in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (Logistics focus), or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in logistics and material flow planning, warehouse design, intralogistics automation, and project delivery (greenfield, brownfield, or optimisation projects)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Proven ability to identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, including contingency planning
Strong communication skills and willingness to work domestically and internationally
Excellent analytical capability, with an independent but collaborative working style and a strong customer focus
Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, or similar)
Flexibility to travel within the UK Golden Triangle and internationally as required
