Job Purpose
To provide first-line IT support and ensure the smooth operation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT systems, infrastructure, and digital platforms across the organisation. The role involves hands-on technical support, system administration, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Troubleshooting
· - Provide first-line technical support to staff across all departments.
· - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Network Administration
· - Manage network switches, cabling, and VLAN configurations.
· - Monitor and maintain network performance and security.
WiFi & Connectivity
· - Configure and maintain concession WiFi access points.
· - Ensure reliable wireless connectivity across all operational areas.
Security Systems
· - Administer and maintain CCTV systems.
· - Manage user profiles and access permissions for alarm systems.
Audio & PA Systems
· - Control amplifiers and PA systems.
· - Edit and program PA announcements and playlists.
Telecommunications
· - Manage mobile and desktop phone systems.
· - Configure hunt groups and call agent programming.
KCPOS Administration
· - Manage user accounts and permissions.
· - Configure menu items, product modifiers, and kitchen printer mapping.
Sage Integration
· - Administer customer groups, discount groups, and product group discounts.
Magento Platform
· - Replicate Sage settings within Magento for consistency across platforms.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
· - Proven experience in IT support or system administration.
· - Strong understanding of networking (switches, VLANs, cabling).
· - Experience with POS systems (preferably KCPOS).
· - Familiarity with Sage and Magento platforms.
· - Ability to manage audio systems and PA configurations.
· - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable:
· - Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).
· - Experience with CCTV and alarm systems.
· - Knowledge of telephony systems and call routing.
Working Conditions
Office-based with occasional travel to concession sites.
May require out-of-hours support during system upgrades or emergencies.
