Your Purpose
This newly created position manages and supports the finance and administrative operations of the Medical, Public Health and Food Safety Department
Your Impact
* Works with the CMO and relevant stakeholders to create and manage annual expenditure and revenue budgets and align financial decisions with organisational goals
* Forecasts financial needs and allocate resources accordingly
* Monitors financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed
* Ensures compliance with company financial rules and all jurisdictional financial regulations
* Prepares and presents financial reports to senior management and stakeholders as required
* Oversees internal and external financial audits
* Collaborates with the health informatics manager to analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
* Develops systems to track and oversee billing processes, reimbursement procedures, and patient financial services
* Collaborates with the CMO to manage relationships and negotiate contracts with all relevant providers to the Medical, Public Health and Food Safety Department
* Implements cost-efficiency strategies and operational improvements
* Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures
* Stay updated with advancements in healthcare finance and implement new strategies.
Your Journey so far
* Strong background in healthcare finance, administration and business operations
* In-depth knowledge of financial laws and regulations in the healthcare industry
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning skills
* Proficiency in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office including Excel
* Experience using other finance and health electronic record related platforms an advantage
* Knowledge and practical application of digital data platforms such as Power BI is an advantage
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience of or exposure to maritime medicine, public health and the cruise industry is a significant advantage.

* Degree level qualification in Finance and/or Accounting (or similar), Healthcare Administration or a related field
