Job Title: Moulding Plant Operator Location: Oldham About the Role: We are looking for a Moulding Plant Operator to join our team in the manufacturing department. The successful candidate will play a key role in operating moulding machinery, ensuring the smooth production of high-quality products. This is a physically demanding role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 07:30 - 12:30 Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour (increasing after Week 4 based on experience and performance) Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain various moulding machines and equipment to produce products in line with production schedules. Ensure all safety and quality standards are followed during the manufacturing process. Conduct routine checks and inspections of equipment and moulds to identify issues before they occur. Monitor and adjust machines for optimal performance and output. Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with machinery. Assist with loading/unloading raw materials and finished products. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and keep work areas clean and organised. Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues to supervisors.
