Job Description
We are currently seeking a Powered Access PDI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on a range of powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and cherry pickers.
If you have mechanical or electrical experience in powered access, plant, HGV, or similar sectors, and take pride in attention to detail and safety, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct PDIs on new and used powered access machines
* Carry out basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic checks
* Identify and repair minor faults to ensure equipment is ready for hire
* Complete all relevant inspection documentation accurately
* Ensure compliance with LOLER and manufacturer standards
* Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organised
Requirements
* Mechanical or electrical engineering background (powered access, plant, HGV, forklift, or similar)
* Understanding of safety regulations including LOLER/PUWER (desirable)
* IPAF PDI / CAP qualification is a bonus – training can be provided
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
