Overview
Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Responsibilities
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
* Engage with Schools and Local Authorities to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community.
* You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring / self-employed teaching position.
* We are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to support young people with SEND and SEMH needs, including experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
Qualifications
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references.
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs.
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Experience & Background
* Individuals with highly relevant experience from teaching background often have worked in roles such as SENDCo, SLD/MLD Teacher, Autism/ADHD Support Teacher, Intervention Specialist/Teacher/Tutor, or Ex-Teacher.
* Other relevant roles from therapeutic and learning support backgrounds include Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant, Educational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Educational Psychologist, Inclusion Coordinator.
