We have an exciting opportunity for a full‑time, permanent Nursery Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team working in the under 2s’ room. We are looking for someone with a passion for creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment and a creative approach for delivering an inspiring curriculum that helps children flourish and thrive.
Responsibilities
* Assist senior staff in planning and preparing activities to provide a high‑quality curriculum.
* Carry out observation and assessment of individual children and complete their development records.
* Attend to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children, working in partnership with parents to help each child reach their potential.
* Participate in ongoing training.
Qualifications
* Relevant Level 3 qualification in early childhood education.
* Experience working with children under 5 years old.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
* A commitment to working in partnership with parents to provide a high standard of childcare.
Additional Requirements
The successful applicant will need to be subject to a background disclosure check (DBS) before any appointment can be confirmed.
