Island Seafood Ltd is a trusted supplier of high-quality, fresh and frozen seafood to restaurants across Essex. We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team for our busiest days, Friday and Saturday.
In this role, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our clients receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. This is a crucial position that helps chefs prepare for their weekend service.
Duties
* Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
* Safely load and organise fresh seafood products onto the delivery vehicle.
* Follow an optimised multi-drop route to deliver to restaurants and commercial kitchens.
* Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner.
* Provide exceptional customer service upon delivery, maintaining a professional and friendly attitude.
* Obtain proof of delivery and handle delivery paperwork accurately.
* Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the company vehicle.
* Adhere to all food safety and road safety regulations.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Must hold a full, clean UK driving license.
* Proven experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is essential.
* Familiarity with driving in Essex and the surrounding areas is highly advantageous.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
* Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
* Must be available to work every Friday and Saturday from 7 am.
