Job Overview
Provide security services by protecting customers’ property, people, and assets in accordance with Assignment Instructions and any updates, achieving KPIs/SLAs to retain contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Protect property, people and assets as per Assignment Instructions.
* Deliver results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement.
* Maintain compliance with all policies, UK law, statutory legislation, and guidance.
* Complete all tasks defined in Assignment Instructions and suggest service improvements.
* Wear required licences – front‑line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence – at all times, renew 16 weeks before expiry.
* Follow instructions and procedures without unnecessary challenge to authority.
* Work systematically, methodically and orderly.
* Complete competency training, ongoing self‑development and use technology to achieve objectives.
* Report health and safety hazards, threats or incidents promptly, maintain notebook entries and incident reports.
* Adhere to scheduled check calls, call emergency services and communication centre as required.
Training & Development
* Complete all required competency training.
* Participate in additional training for continuous self‑development.
* Leverage technology to support job knowledge and professional growth.
Health & Safety
* Report hazards and potential hazards immediately.
* Ensure safety and reduce disruptions, loss or damage.
* Use common sense and involve others if situations become threatening.
* Maintain professional conduct under challenging circumstances.
* Document incidents accurately for Incident Report process.
Schedule
Saturday: 06:00 – 19:00; Sunday: 07:00 – 19:00.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous security experience.
* SIA Licence.
* SC Clearance desirable.
* Knowledge of UK law and guidance for security officers.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
