At The Lignum Group, we’re growing our international footprint and are looking for a Client Development Lead to take ownership of new business development and long-term client growth across key global markets.


💡 The Role

This is a commercial, client-facing position focused on building relationships that turn into long-term partnerships and consistent revenue growth.


You will be responsible for:

* Building new client relationships across US and European markets
* Developing and growing key accounts over time
* Leading commercial conversations with senior stakeholders
* Identifying opportunities through market insight and hiring trends
* Working closely with recruitment teams to ensure strong delivery alignment

You’ll directly influence:

* New client acquisition
* Account expansion and retention
* Revenue growth across international markets
* How we position and scale within key sectors


🤝 How You’ll Work


You’ll collaborate closely with our wider recruitment teams to ensure strong delivery outcomes, supported by:

* A dedicated research team who map client markets and identify the strongest talent across each sector
* A Business Development Executive (BDE) team who support with initial outreach, follow-ups, and maintaining pipeline momentum


This gives you the platform to focus on building relationships, opening doors, and growing accounts, rather than starting from scratch.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Comes from a recruitment or B2B commercial background
* Has experience in client development, BD, or billing
* Is confident leading commercial and pricing conversations
* Understands how to build and grow long-term client relationships
* Is motivated by ownership, revenue, and impact


Recruitment experience is important - but commercial mindset, energy, and approach matter more.

🌍 Experience That Helps

* Exposure to UK, US, or European markets
