We are recruiting a Lettings Officer on behalf of a well-established Housing Association based in Birmingham. This is a short-term opportunity ideal for an experienced housing professional who can hit the ground running, covering areas in Birmingham, Worcester and Coventry.
The Role You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality allocations, lettings, and empty property management service, ensuring homes are let efficiently and in line with policy.
Key responsibilities of a Lettings Officer include:
Delivering sign-ups and completing new tenant agreements with customers
Managing the lettings of empty properties in accordance with the allocations policy
Ensuring void properties are let within minimum timescales to meet performance targets
Providing a professional, customer-focused service throughout the lettings process
Working flexibly across multiple locations as required
What We'd Love To See From You As A Lettings Officer:
Previous experience in the housing sector
Proven experience delivering new tenant sign-ups and agreements
Strong knowledge of allocations and lettings processes
A proactive and organised approach with excellent communication skills
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
