Lecturer in Accounting and Finance
£27,185 - £41,014 per annum (gross, pro-rata)
Contractual hours: 29.6 hours per week
The Role
As a Lecturer, you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of Accounting and Finance courses. You will teach across a broad range of provisions, with a particular emphasis on Finance, including T levels. You may also teach on commercial courses as needed, in accordance with business requirements.
You will employ a variety of teaching methods, take responsibility for your teaching quality and curriculum development to meet learner needs. You will assess and record learners' progress in line with the procedures of the relevant awarding bodies, liaising with internal and external bodies, including examination boards.
What we are looking for
You should hold a UK Honours degree or an ENIC-recognized degree in a related discipline (Accounting/Finance) and a PGCE or other recognized teaching qualification. You must have a successful track record in teaching Accounts/Finance at various levels. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to motivate and inspire students are essential.
