Partnerships Manager – Clinical Trial Technology

Within a London-based health tech start-up building AI-powered automation software for the clinical trials industry.

Their platform helps pharmaceutical companies and research organisations eliminate manual back-office admin across the trial lifecycle, from pre-trial setup through to close-out.


About the Role:

We're hiring a Partnerships Manager to take ownership of the commercial partnerships strategy. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing, building and managing partnerships that directly contribute to revenue growth, open up new markets and expand how the product reaches customers across the pharma and clinical research space.

We're after someone hands-on and commercially astute, who can build value driven partnerships in a health tech or SaaS business.

This role offers a genuine pathway into a senior leadership/C-suite as the company grows.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and run a partnership pipeline - from identifying new leads through to activation and ongoing relationship management.
  • Take full ownership of commercial deals, handlling due diligence, contract negotiation, value proposition design, and go-to-market planning jointly with partners.
  • Shape a partnership strategy tailored to key segments, including pharmaceutical companies, CROs, trial sites, healthcare platforms, and data providers.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, Marketing and Senior Leadership to ensure partnership activity supports broader company objectives.
  • Identify new revenue models and channel opportunities by exploring fresh strategic alliances.
  • Monitor partnership performance against KPIs, build revenue forecasts and reports related to partnership activity.
  • Attend as representative of the company at conferences and partner events, building relationships and raising the company's profile in the industry.


Essential Experience:

  • 5+ years in health tech, SaaS in business development, strategic partnerships, or revenue-generating alliances.
  • Startup or growth-stage experience scaling commercial partnerships.
  • Track record specifically with revenue-sharing partnerships, referral/introductory agreements and reseller agreements.
  • Experience with enterprise-level sales in clinical research or pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable.
  • Global sales experience and comfort working across cultures and time zones.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
