As the go-to person for our valued customers on-site, you'll skillfully manage customer interactions with a touch of professionalism and expertise, tackling a diverse range of rotating equipment challenges. Beyond the field, you'll find yourself immersed in our cutting-edge workshop, contributing to innovation in a state-of-the-art environment when not out in the field Your main tasks and responsibilities: Lead and inspire an on-site team, ensuring a comprehensive focus on Health, Safety, and Environmental standards for yourself and your team. Serve as the primary point of contact for our valued customers at their sites or locations, managing all customer interactions with professionalism and expertise. Conduct fault-finding activities on a diverse range of rotating machinery, showcasing your technical prowess and problem-solving skills. Execute the dismantling, inspection, and rebuilding of machinery in adherence to pre-established Undertake equipment removal, installations, and commissioning activities, contributing to seamless project execution. Uphold the highest standards of on-site work quality, guaranteeing excellence in every aspect of our service delivery. Conduct alignment checks using either DTIs or Laser alignment equipment. To succeed in this role, you will need: Successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship or possession of a mechanical engineering qualification. Experience working with a verity of Rotating Equipment. Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes in project requirements. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, ensuring precision in every task. Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, establishing trust and confidence with our clients. Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
