Desktop Engineer - Telephony Deployment (Security Cleared)

Role Overview
We are looking for a number of Desktop Engineers to support a large-scale IP Phone upgrade project. This will be predominantly a handset replacement project, migrating users from legacy desk phones to IP Phone Teams-enabled devices. The role combines standard desktop deployment activity with light telephony/Teams Voice tasks, including device build, configuration, and onsite user swap-outs.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
* Build, configure, and certificate AudioCode handsets using the OVOC platform.
* Physically deploy and replace handset devices within user offices across the estate.
* Upload user contacts and assist with basic Teams Phone configuration.
* Liaise with remote provisioners to authenticate devices and complete setup.
* Follow documented build and deployment processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Track device serial numbers, deployment progress, and any issues encountered.
* Provide a professional onsite service, including basic end-user assistance during the swap-out.
* Work closely with the project lead and wider voice engineering team to meet daily deployment targets.
