Role Overview
We are seeking a highly reliable and vigilant individual to join our security team in a dual capacity as a CCTV Operatorand Mobile Response Officer. This hybrid role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of our sites, staff, clients, and assets through proactive monitoring, swift incident response, and effective coordination with internal teams and external agencies.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observational skills, rapid decision-making under pressure, and the ability to maintain professionalism in both control room and field environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesCCTV Operator Duties
* Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage to identify suspicious, unusual, or unlawful activity.
* Ensure all surveillance systems are fully operational, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate incident logs and compile evidence for investigations when required.
* Respond to alarms and alerts in real time, coordinating with mobile response teams or emergency services as appropriate.
* Uphold data protection and confidentiality standards while handling footage and reports.
Mobile Response Officer Duties
* Conduct mobile patrols of designated sites in accordance with assignment instructions.
* Respond promptly and appropriately to alarm activations, incidents, or emergency call-outs.
* Complete detailed incident and activity reports, providing accurate documentation.
* Engage with clients, staff, or the public in a professional and customer-focused manner.
* Support lone worker safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

* Ability to operate CCTV and alarm monitoring systems confidently.
* Competent report writing and record-keeping skills.

* Physical fitness and readiness to conduct patrols and emergency responses.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Valid SIA Licence (CCTV and Security Guarding/Door Supervisor).
* Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
* Previous experience in security operations, CCTV monitoring, or mobile response preferred.
* Knowledge of security and emergency response procedures.
* First Aid qualification (desirable).
* Ability to pass background checks and vetting as required.
