Healthcare Assistant – Pearce Ward (Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit)
You will work on the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital as a key member of the nursing team, supporting registered nurses with patients and families. You will work on your own initiative under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to registered nurses to patients and families.
* Work independently while following the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent communication skills – especially listening.
* A friendly, open, empathetic and compassionate communication style.
* Strong ability to engage with patients, visitors and colleagues.
* Ability to work well in a team.
We will provide a comprehensive induction programme and will appraise you yearly, with the view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
