Overview
The Wakefield School Immunisation Team are looking for Bank nurses to support our delivery of the annual Flu immunisation programme to school aged children in the Wakefield district from September to December. Delivery of both Nasal and IM Flu vaccinations in both school and clinic locations across the Wakefield district.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the annual Flu immunisation programme to school aged children in the Wakefield district (September to December).
* Deliver both Nasal and IM Flu vaccinations in school and clinic locations across the Wakefield district.
Working Arrangements and Environment
We are flexible on working arrangements to help staff balance work and home life. The Wakefield Immunisation Team is based in Normanton but covers the whole Wakefield area; successful applicants must be able to travel to all areas of the district. The Flu programme is fast moving and busy; you must be able to work well under pressure. Excellent communication skills are essential when working with a diverse community.
Hours
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, up to a maximum of 5 days per week.
Qualifications
* RN qualified with current NMC registration.
