An established Consultancy is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support a fast-moving, high-profile digital transformation programme. The role offers the opportunity to work on a technical build using Dynamics 365, Azure, and JIRA, contributing to end-to-end digital solutions and helping deliver real business value.
This is a Hybrid Contract Role with occasional travel to the West Midlands and London offices when required. The programme is approaching a critical service commencement date, so immediate availability is essential.
THE ROLE
The Technical Business Analyst will operate at the intersection of business strategy and technical delivery, ensuring complex systems and platforms are translated into clear, actionable requirements.
1. Collaborating with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and delivery teams to gather and validate requirements
2. Translating business needs into user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process flows
3. Facilitating workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions
4. Supporting Agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
5. Contributing to BA standards, templates, and continuous improvement initiatives
6. Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and change management activities
7. Championing data-driven decision-making and ensuring compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity requirements
YOU
The Technical Business Analyst will have prior experience of:
8. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst in digital or technology-driven projects
9. Experience with CRM systems, particularly Dynamics 365
10. Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), SQL, APIs, and system integrations
11. Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Visio
12. Strong understanding of Agile delivery, iterative workflows, and sprint-based planning
13. Comfortable working in complex, matrixed organisations
14. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
15. Able to manage multiple moving parts and priorities simultaneously
16. Excellent communication and facilitation skills
