The Package
£40,000 – £50,000 DOE
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Office-based role in Wembley

You will oversee payroll operations for approximately 7,000 employees across multiple hospitality brands including QSR, hotels and restaurant concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a team of three payroll professionals
Oversee high-volume weekly and monthly payroll operations
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, submissions and statutory reporting
Maintain compliance with HMRC, pension regulations and right-to-work requirements
Manage payroll system integrity and continuous process improvement
Act as the main escalation point for complex payroll queries
Produce payroll reporting and analysis to support financial reviews
Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders
You:
Are currently a Payroll Manager (not stepping up for the first time)
Have experience in multi-site hospitality, QSR, restaurants or hotels
Understand hourly vs salaried payroll structures
Are comfortable with high-volume, multi-entity payroll environments
Can identify industry-specific discrepancies and anomalies quickly
Have strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
Demonstrate analytical thinking and excellent communication skills
Take ownership and runs their department like their own business
Experience matters more than formal qualifications.
