What you’ll be doing
* Deputise for the Operations Control Manager, supporting departmental leadership and operational decision-making.
* Support the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of Operations Control activities, including escalation management during disruption.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to Operations Control Duty Managers.
* Lead projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the OCC.
* Monitor operational performance, compliance, and safety standards, promoting a strong Just Culture ethos.
* Act as a key interface across the wider OCC and provide operational recommendations to senior management.
* Support onboarding, competence management, and succession planning within the team.
* Office-based (Monday to Friday) at Low Fare Finder House, Yeadon, with occasional operational shift and on-call cover.
What you’ll have
* Previous experience within an airline Operations Control / OCC environment is preferred.
* Strong operational decision-making capability under pressure.
* Experience leading, coaching, or developing operational teams.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, improvement-focused mindset.
* A collaborative leadership style with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
