 We're working with a well-established and fast-growing engineering supplies business that's looking to appoint an experienced Trade Account Manager to join their team in Durham.
 This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused professional to take ownership of trade accounts, build long-term relationships, and play a key role in the company's continued success.
The Role
 As Trade Account Manager, you'll be the main point of contact for trade customers across multiple sectors, providing first-class service and ensuring all enquiries and orders are handled efficiently.
 Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing and developing relationships with trade clients.
Handling enquiries, preparing quotations, and processing orders accurately.
Sourcing a wide range of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) products from trusted suppliers.
Managing purchase orders and expediting where necessary to meet agreed lead times.
Resolving customer and supplier queries professionally and promptly.
Conducting site visits to key accounts to check stock levels, liaise with buyers, and identify new opportunities.This is a varied and hands-on position that would suit someone who thrives in a busy, customer-driven environment.
The Person
Experience in trade account management, technical sales, or customer service.
Experience preparing technical quotations is desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable under pressure.
Confident using Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
Full UK driving licence required.
Based in or within a commutable distance of Durham (DH1).
