Are you an experienced Banking Solicitor looking for a chance to develop your career and make a name for yourself in the field? Our client is a multi‑award winning Legal 500 firm with an excellent reputation for the services it provides. The firm’s distinguished Banking team is looking to expand its offering and bring on an experienced Solicitor who can focus on corporate banking matters. The team handles high‑quality work on behalf of an impressive client base, however at the minute the team has a heavy focus towards property work and is ideally looking to further the corporate banking offering, meaning this caseload would have a focus in that area. This role could also be ideal for someone wanting to remove a glass ceiling, someone with a strong base of experience in which they are confident who is looking to push their name forward. There is significant support available in developing the work, and the existing partners have contacts but simply don’t have time to do the work so have held back from that part of the market, however with the right person in place they can reignite these contacts for the benefit of both the team and whoever it is that joins them, making this a fairly unique and really career enhancing role. Our client envisages the successful Banking Solicitor to be at least 4 years’ PQE but it could be someone already P to partner level providing the business case is strong enough, you will need to have experience running either a broad Banking caseload or be more specialised within corporate banking specifically.
