The Job Reporting to the Tooling Team Leader, the Tooling Technician will: Carry out all product changeovers in accordance with production schedules Ensure that agreed routines are adhered to Review, analyse and work to improve efficiency and reduce tooling faults Monitor and record appropriate data as outlined in the operations manual or as agreed with the Tooling Team Leader Maintain a suitable number of production tools for the Manufacturing cells Undertake preventative maintenance operations as outlined in the operations manual or as directed by the Tooling Team Leader Ensure that her/his actions and the operation of relevant machinery are carried out to required safety standards taking into account the health and safety of her/himself and others Ensure the effective/efficient running of machinery and processes at all times Carry out adjustments to the machinery/process as outlined in the operations manual or as directed by the Tooling Team Leader Report all relevant details to the Tooling Team Leader Set up machinery as appropriate Essential Short-listing Criteria NVQ Level 2 qualification in a mechanical or manufacturing discipline Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment At least 1 year's experience working within a workshop environment Skills and experience in precision or manufacturing engineering Must be computer literate Desirable Short-listing Criteria Previous experience working in the food and/or drinks packaging industry Previous experience working with production tooling or within a moulds workshop Current and valid forklift license Trained and experienced in the use of an electric pallet stacker Trained and experienced in the use of over-head cranes / sling lifts certificate Those wishing to apply for this position, should apply online by visiting: Completed applications must be returned by 23rd February 2026,5pm.
