Complex Care Assistant
Location: Harlow
Employer: Libertatem Healthcare
Pay: £17.10 per day, £19.10 per night
Positions: 2 (zero‑hour contract, 24 hours per week each, primarily days with occasional nights)
Shifts: Monday – Sunday
* 08:00 – 20:00 (Day)
* 20:00 – 08:00 (Night)
Job Summary: You will provide comprehensive care to a client with a brain injury and cognitive impairment, supporting their independence and well‑being while staying with them at home. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with mobility and repositioning.
* Operate specialist equipment, including a ceiling track hoist and wheelchair.
* Drive the client safely to appointments and activities.
* Ensure the client’s safety, dignity and comfort.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Basic care experience (complex care experience is desirable but not required – training will be supplied).
* Valid driving licence and confidence in driving clients safely.
* Willingness to learn new skills and work across day and night shifts.
* Compassionate, patient, emotionally resilient and a strong communicator/team player.
