Quantity Surveyor / QS / Utilities (Gas / Electricity / Water / Power / Energy or Nuclear) / NEC4 / NEC 4 / NEC-4 / Commercial / Contracts / Cost Estimation / Construction / Engineering / Based in Peterborough / onsite role 5 days per week / £500 600 per day Inside IR35.
One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor.
Location Main base/office location is Peterborough/Cambridgeshire with projects running up to York so will be some site visits along the A1 so covering East Midlands, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire.
Initial 3 month contract to start ASAP
£500 600 per day Inside IR35
You will be responsible for all financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, providing cost estimation and planning, contract management, financial oversight, risk management, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. You will support tender evaluation, negotiate contracts, audit contractor records, and prepare detailed reports to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Experience:
Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / QS
Utilities / Energy / Power industry sector Gas / Electricity / Water / Nuclear etc
NEC4 contract experience
