Research Midwife/Nurse, Band 6 - Fixed Term, 12 Months
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated midwife or nurse to join our reproductive health and childbirth research team.
This exciting role offers an opportunity to develop clinical research skills. The successful candidate will coordinate research studies at Newham Hospital, based at Newham University Hospital in Plaistow, with occasional travel to other Bart’s Health NHS Trust sites and external meetings.
The responsibilities include identifying potential participants, providing study information, obtaining informed consent, managing study data, and following up with participants. Study-specific training will be provided. You will also contribute to the development of the wider research agenda and support studies eligible for the NIHR portfolio.
About the Programme
The Reproductive Health and Childbirth programme, established in 2010 at Barts Health NHS Trust, specializes in research training and projects with strong international and national collaborations in obstetrics and gynaecology. You will join a small, friendly team of researchers across four hospitals.
