Job Title: Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer
Location: Isle of Wight - PO31 work postcodes
Job Type: Sub-Contractor
We are currently recruiting Gas Service & Repair Engineers to take on a service and repair contract on behalf of a market leading company. All works will be in the social housing sector and all jobs will be sent via a PDA. The successful Gas Service & Repair Engineer will receive 6-8 jobs a day all based in your chosen working location and be paid a daily rate.
Responsibilities
 * Provide service and repair engineering for gas boilers and associated systems.
 * Diagnose boiler repairs and provide effective solutions.
 * Work within IOW post code areas and social housing properties.
 * Adhere to working hours (8:00 am – 5:30 pm) and participate in a call-out rota (1 in 4 weeks) which is paid additionally.
 * Ensure timely execution of tasks and maintain quality standards.
Essential Requirements
 * Own Gas Safe Registration, with Gas Flue Analyser.
 * Own Van and Tools.
 * Must hold CENWAT, CCN1, CKR1, HTR1.
 * Hold a full UK Clean driving licence.
 * Domestic experience.
 * Competent with all boiler diagnostics, servicing, installation, maintenance & repairs, across all major brands.
 * Strong customer skills.
Qualifications
 * Domestic Gas qualifications.
