Vacancy Summary Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Type: Permanent Job Ref: #1327 Location: Greater London - Office & Site within c20mins of Hackney Start Date: ASAP Salary: c£70k-£80k basic plus competitive package inc car allowance, pension etc. Company & Project: A privately owned main contractor operating in the Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use and Regeneration sectors, are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship Residential and Mixed-Use, Design & Build, New Build project in excess of c£70m+. Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing daily commercial management functions across a large section of the project, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts. Previous experience on projects £20m+ as Number 1 QS is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of assisting with CVR's and monthly reporting. Desirable Experience: Minimum 10 years+ experience as a QS on Construction projects in excess of £20m. Good knowledge of JCT Design & Build Contracts.
