Role Description
As our Activities Coordinator, you will create, plan, lead, and organise an engaging and diverse program of daily activities, entertainment, and events to enrich the lives of residents. Your duties may include:
1. Liaising with external companies to organise entertainment.
2. Listening to residents to develop popular programs of events and activities.
3. Collaborating with care staff to coordinate hairdressing, chiropody visits, etc.
4. Organising raffles and fundraising events for residents and the home.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a bright, outgoing, and creative individual. The ideal candidate will be organised and have some experience working within the care sector, understanding residents' needs to tailor activity choices. No prior experience as an Activities Coordinator is required, but a positive, enthusiastic attitude is essential.
