Role Overview We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our UHT (Ultra High Temperature) processing team. In this role, you will operate and monitor UHT equipment ensuring seamless production runs, maintaining safety, hygiene, and quality standards while meeting production targets. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor UHT processing equipment according to standard operating procedures. Carry out routine checks and quality control to ensure products meet specifications. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and hygiene standards. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain efficiency. Conduct cleaning and maintenance of equipment in line with the company’s cleaning schedules and 'clean as you go' policy. Assist in moving stock using onsite vehicles when required. Report any issues or deviations promptly to the Production Team Leader. Provide support and cover across other production areas as needed. Shift Pattern This role involves working rotational shifts including early (6am to 2pm), late (2pm to 10pm), and night (10pm to 6am) shifts on a weekly basis. An 8.5% shift allowance is payable for working shifts. Requirements Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably with UHT processing or similar equipment, is advantageous but not essential. Must be able to follow detailed instructions and comply with safety and hygiene procedures. Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy products as required. Flexibility to work various shifts including nights. Willingness to learn and develop skills within the production environment.
