Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an experienced Senior Audit Accountant / Manager to join a successful Accountancy practice in Dudley. This role requires a well-rounded accounting and audit professional with strong technical expertise, excellent client management abilities, and proven leadership skills. You will play a key role in overseeing accounts, audits, tax matters, and staff development while working closely with partners and the practice manager.
80% Accounts / 20% Audit
The role is 5 days a week onsite, with flexible working hours.

* Lead and conduct audits for medium-sized companies
* Ensure compliance with statutory disclosure requirements
* Address audit risks and issues
Management Accounts
* Prepare and review monthly/quarterly management accounts
* Oversee bookkeeping processes
Software & Systems
* Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
* Accounts production software
* Tax software
Taxation
* Corporation Tax
* Income Tax
* Capital Gains Tax
* VAT
* CIS
* PAYE
* Tax planning
* Research complex tax matters
* Handle HMRC enquiries
Staff Management & Leadership
* Oversee and mentor junior staff
* Manage workloads, timetables, budgets
* Support team development and morale
Client Management
* Main point of contact for assigned clients
* Handle client communications
* Conduct face-to-face client meetings
