Job Description
This is community based, working with clients in their own home. You will have the full support of a team leader who will be actively involved in the service and benefit from our extensive training and development. You will also have access to our in‑house clinical team to provide any additional advice and guidance you may need, as well as client/diagnosis specific training.
We are looking for staff with experience in mental health, or transferrable skills within a similar field. You must be able to work autonomously from the detailed support plans provided for each client to work flexibly across the many services we provide for clients with all levels of need within the mental health spectrum. You need to be resilient, adaptable, as well as confident in problem solving a variety of situations and presentations.
We provide support in a recovery‑focused way, always aiming to practice Trauma Informed support. Our goal is to guide our clients to regain or rebuild their independence and control over their own lives, helping them increase their confidence in themselves to be able to make their own decisions.
We’re seeking someone who is:
* Empathetic, patient and passionate about supporting people with mental health needs.
* Confident engaging with individuals with neurodiversity or complex backgrounds.
* Has experience (or is keen to learn) therapeutic de‑escalation and crisis‑intervention techniques.
* Adaptable, proactive, and able to respond to changing needs.
Full training will be provided so if you feel you can embed our values and offer quality support to enable people to achieve their goals, we want to hear from you!
Are you compassionate, patient, and motivated by helping people move forward with confidence?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to providing personalised support that empowers individuals with complex needs to live independently and with dignity. We are currently looking for day staff, waking night staff and bank staff!
In this role, you’ll make a real difference by helping people achieve their goals, promoting social inclusion, and managing risks with compassion and professionalism.
Our team comprises many different types of extraordinary people; we are not looking for one ‘set’ of skills but instead are looking for people who share our vision to do something different; something innovative, high quality and something that achieves something amazing for the people we work with.
Whether you’re new to the field or building on existing experience, you’ll find excellent opportunities to grow your skills and progress your career within a supportive and award‑winning organisation.
This is your chance to be part of a meaningful journey that transforms lives every day! Car owner/driver essential
We do not offer sponsorship with this role.
If you have an interest in working in the mental health sector and making a positive difference, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a team providing intensive support to clients with complex mental health needs.
