Job Details:
* Dates: 05/08/2024 to 30/08/2024
* Working Hours: 8.00am - 3pm, Monday to Friday
* Location: Multiple summer camps in North-west and west London
* Pay: £15.15-£17.15 per hour
Requirements
Lead Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the summer camp, ensuring activities run smoothly and according to schedule
* Coordinate with staff to develop engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs
* Provide guidance and support to camp counsellors, ensuring they deliver high-quality care and programming
* Manage camper registration and attendance records
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and staff
* Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding camp updates and any concerns
* Serve as a positive role model for campers and staff, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
* Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during camp hours with professionalism and efficiency
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) status is preferred
* Previous experience in a leadership role within a camp or educational setting
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
* Enthusiasm for working with children and creating fun, engaging activities
* First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
* Background in youth development, education, or related field is beneficial
